Fire Extinguishers

Impulse Fire & Security are certified to design, install and maintain Fire Extinguishers for all commercial and domestic applications. We use our own FETA and FIA qualified engineers to carry out all extinguisher work.

Dry Powder
Dry Powder – Dry Powder is a highly versatile medium for tackling most types of fires. Extremely effective on electrical hazards, flammable liquids and gases, which makes this ideal for vehicle fires.

  • Multi-purpose application.
  • Squeeze grip operation.
  • Corrosion resistant finish.
  • Kitemarked to BS EN3.
  • Protective plastic base.
  • Complete with bracket.

CO2
CO2 – For electrical fires or flammable liquids CO2 is ideal. Harmless to electrical equipment and so is ideal for offices and workshops. Both these extinguishers have non-conductive, anti-static horns.

  • Squeeze grip operation.
  • Corrosion resistant finish.
  • Harmless to machinery.
  • Kitemarked to BS EN3.
  • Complete with bracket.

Water
Water – The Water extinguisher is still one of the most useful and cost-effective ways to put out free-burning materials such as paper, wood and fabrics.

  • Squeeze grip operation.
  • Corrosion resistant finish.
  • Internal polyethylene lining.
  • Protective plastic base.
  • Kitemarked to BS EN3.
  • Complete with bracket.

Foam
Foam – Spray foam extinguishers provide a fast, powerful means of tackling flammable liquids. The foam forms a seal over the surface to prevent re-ignition. Ideal for multi-risk usage and safe to use in close proximity to electrical equipment.

  • Spray nozzle.
  • Squeeze grip operation.
  • Corrosion resistant finish.
  • Internal polyethylene lining.
  • Protective plastic base.
  • Complete with bracket.
  • 6L and 9L models have passed the 35kv conductivity discharge test.

Wet Chemical
WET CHEMICAL – An extremely effective extinguisher designed specifically for fires involving cooking oils and fats. The chemical knocks out the flames, cools the burning oil and seals the surface preventing re-ignition. The extinguisher is easy to use, producing a gentle but highly effective spray which helps prevent hot oil splashing on the user.

  • Capable of extinguishing a cooking oil or fat fire of up to 75 litres in size.
  • 13A fire rating for all round safety and embraces the 35 kV di-electric test.
  • EN3 red, with official canary yellow colour coding.
  • User friendly 6 litre size – supplied factory filled.
  • Wet chemical process seals the surface of burning oil to prevent re-ignition.
  • Cylinder, lance and nozzle constructed from high quality stainless steel.

Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel Extinguishers – In situations where interior design and/or hygiene are important considerations this range is an ideal solution. The highly polished surface keeps any interior looking modern without compromising safety and can be regularly cleaned as the metal does not corrode.

  • Ideal for environments where hygiene is paramount and when considering interior design.
  • Highly polished surface finish.
  • Corrosion resistant construction.
  • Simple ‘seize and squeeze’ operation.
  • Controllable discharge assures efficient use of contents and minimises clean-up.
  • All extinguishers are re-chargeable.
