CCTV Systems

Impulse Fire & Security are an NSI NACOSS Gold accredited company for design, installation and maintenance of CCTV systems. This means we are independently audited with onsite post installation inspections to confirm all works have been carried out to British and European standards in force at the time of installation.

​Systems are designed to meet the specific requirements of the Client and there are various different types of CCTV system available. Systems can include internal cameras, external and vandal resistant cameras, cameras with zoom lenses and fully functional pan, tilt and zoom cameras.

A professionally designed and installed CCTV System can save thousands of pounds in deterring theft from Client premises in both commercial and domestic environments. CCTV Systems provide additional safety and security in the home and workplace by recording images on a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or a Network Video Recorder (NVR). Recorders typically store recordings for 31 days. Images can be archived to a USB device for evidential purposes as and when required.

 

Most recorders have the ability for live and recorded CCTV images to be accessed and viewed remotely via a smartphone or laptop should the Client require this function.

A recent study has even shown the reduction in false slip, trip and fall claims in the workplace due to having CCTV installed.

Integrated Systems

​

CCTV Systems can be Integrated with Access Control, Intruder Alarm and Building Management Systems allowing the user to have control of the system either locally or remotely.

Data Protection Act

​

CCTV systems used to record images of individuals must comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018.
